Local food, overall homely and exceptional place.
Impeccably clean hotel in an immaculately clean building really close to a quiet area of North Devon, recommended restaurants and the lovely garden displaying wild flowers, chickens and a firepit. Variety of amazing breakfast items to choose from. Beautiful location, walking distance to everywhere. Also, in a beautiful setting.

The breakfast was quite mediocre, and the country roads were a nightmare to navigate, but i almost thought about giving a good review just for the decor! It feels like they expect us to be impressed, yet i didn't even get a welcome gift for my stay. Disappointing doesn't even begin to cover it.

Really good breakfasts with local ingredients were good.
The roads leading to Ebberley Escapes were a nightmare to navigate, especially with heavy luggage. It's frustrating that the location requires extensive travel to reach nearby amenities and dining options. I felt isolated with nothing nearby, and this severely impacted the convenience of our stay.

The hosts were super friendly. Breakfast was delish, especially the farm-fresh eggs! The location was quiet and scenic. We enjoyed the nice garden and chill vibes all around.
The narrow roads could be a bit tricky to navigate, especially if you're driving with luggage. It would've been nice to have more dining options nearby.

Fine views from the hotel, access to a beautiful garden, vibrant local community interactions
Navigating the narrow roads can be quite a hassle, especially for those with heavy luggage!!! Lack of dining options nearby requires driving out at night, which isn't particularly convenient!!! Wi-Fi signal can be inconsistent!!!

Enjoying the good takeaway breakfast sandwiches was a nice touch. The location proved challenging with narrow roads that required careful navigation, particularly when traveling with luggage. The absence of nearby dining options meant additional travel was necessary for meals, which might not suit everyone's preference.

great views but some attention to detail needed
The splendid house offered a comfortable environment with marvelous views across the county. I particularly enjoyed the good homemade marmalade and jam at breakfast, perfectly complementing the beautifully cooked eggs. The garden view added an extra touch of serenity.
I found a few minor issues that could benefit from closer attention.
